Game tools

Original utilities for tabletop and casual play. These fan tools are unaffiliated with game publishers.

Game tools are practical planners for Minecraft building and tabletop-style dice. The Minecraft utilities solve different jobs: circle and sphere layers, chunk coordinates, Overworld–Nether coordinate scaling, stack counts, and daylight timing. They are grouped by audience but are not interchangeable keyword variants.

Each planner explains its grid or rounding convention because block placement is discrete. A mathematically smooth curve must become whole block positions, coordinate division can cross negative boundaries, and a material count depends on whether the build is filled, hollow, or only an outline. These are original fan tools and are not affiliated with or endorsed by a game publisher.

Choose by build task

Plan a shape

Use Circle Generator for a layer or Sphere Generator for a full sphere, dome, or hollow shell.

Translate coordinates

Use Chunk Coordinates for chunk boundaries or Nether Converter for the 8:1 horizontal scale.

Count and schedule

Use Stack Calculator for inventory planning, daylight timing for in-game time, or Dice Roller for tabletop rolls.

Planning checklist

  • Confirm the game edition and coordinate convention described on the tool page.
  • Check negative-coordinate rounding and hollow-versus-filled assumptions.
  • Test a small section in-game before committing rare materials to a large build.
