Tool inputs and aggregate usage
Public tool inputs remain in your browser unless a tool clearly says otherwise. After a successful result, the site may record the tool path, event type, day, and an aggregate count. These totals measure successful runs, not unique people, and do not include the values entered into the tool.
Optional accounts
When you register, we process your email address, public handle, public display name, password hash, accepted-terms record, account status, and security timestamps. Email verification is not required. We may send account security or recovery messages through Cloudflare Email Service. Passwords are stored as password hashes, not readable passwords.
Comments display the member handle and display name. Comments are public and remain associated with the account unless removed or the account is deactivated. Do not include private or sensitive information in a handle, display name, or comment.
Votes, cookies, and abuse prevention
Anonymous voting uses a random browser cookie that lasts up to one year. The server converts that value into a keyed digest so it can prevent duplicate votes without publishing the cookie value. Signed-in votes use a member-derived voter key. Security and rate-limit records may use a keyed digest derived from request-network information; expired rate-limit buckets are removed by scheduled maintenance.
Analytics, advertising, and consent
TheToolSite.net may use Google Analytics and Google AdSense on eligible published tools and substantial articles. Google and other advertising vendors may process cookies, device identifiers, IP-derived location, and browsing information to measure audiences, prevent fraud, personalize or limit advertising, and report performance according to your location and consent choices. Available choices can be reopened from the Privacy and cookie settings control in the footer.
Security providers and logs
Cloudflare provides network delivery, security filtering, Turnstile challenge verification, and transactional email delivery. The hosting platform also creates ordinary operational and security logs. We use these records to operate, protect, debug, and audit the service.
Contact messages and retention
Contact-form messages are retained for 90 days by default and then removed by scheduled maintenance. Account, comment, moderation, audit, and security records may be kept while needed to operate the community, enforce these terms, resolve disputes, comply with law, or maintain backups.
Your choices
You can use tools and vote without creating an account. You can sign out at any time and manage available advertising and analytics choices from the footer. To request access, correction, or deletion of account information, use the Contact page and provide enough information to verify the request. Some security, legal, moderation, or backup records may need to be retained.
